Missouri KidsFirst is please to present a special one-day training event; Kids, Critters and Sexual Abuse.  This special event will be held in Jefferson City, Missouri on Friday, November 21st at the Doubletree Hotel.  Special guest speaker Phil Arkow, Director, The Link, from the American Humane Association will teach participants about the emotional significance of pets in the lives of children, and how this bond is often exploited by abusers seeking to coerce and control child victims of domestic violence, child abuse and child sexual abuse.  A flyer and registration form can be found at their website www.missourikidsfirst.org.
